Accessibility Statement

We want movalo.com to be usable for everyone. Here's where we are, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us if something doesn't work for you.

Our commitment.

Movalo is committed to making movalo.com accessible to people with disabilities. We design and build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time certification.

What we have done.

The Site is built with semantic HTML, named landmarks, and a skip-to-content link. We aim for sufficient color contrast against our cream background, keyboard-navigable controls, visible focus indication on interactive elements, descriptive alt text on informational images, and form labels associated with their inputs. We test the Site against automated accessibility tooling and against a screen reader as a regular part of our build process.

Known issues.

The Site is not perfect. Areas where we know improvement is needed:

  • Some decorative SVG illustrations in hero sections have not yet been formally marked as decorative for assistive technology.
  • The interactive footprint map on the Clients page does not yet expose its underlying data to screen readers in tabular form; a non-visual equivalent is planned.
  • The pop-up modal forms (support callback, emergency report) trap focus by design when open; if a screen reader or keyboard user has trouble exiting, please use the Escape key or contact us so we can address it.

Standards beyond the website.

Movalo also offers accessibility services to clients (WCAG audits, remediation, ongoing monitoring). Those engagements are described on our Accessibility service page and governed by separate engagement terms.
