Hardware, specified to the job.

We size the box to the workload, not the other way around. There's no fixed menu of three tiers to wedge your application into. You tell us what it has to do, we spec the CPU, memory, storage, and network to match, and then we run it as carefully as we'd run our own.

AMD EPYC and Intel Xeon platforms with ECC memory, chosen for core count or clock speed depending on whether your workload is parallel or latency-bound. Configured to your actual job, not a marketing tier that rounds you up.

Mirrored NVMe for the operating system and scale-up NVMe pools for data, with hot-swap bays where uptime demands them. The storage layer is built so a single drive failure is a swap, not an outage.

The honest pitch for dedicated hardware is that most businesses don't need it. Virtual machines are cheaper, faster to provision, and easier to recover, and they handle the large majority of workloads without complaint. We'll tell you that before we sell you a server. Recommending bare metal where a VM would do is how a hosting bill quietly doubles for no performance gain.

A small set of workloads genuinely earn dedicated hardware: databases pushing very high IOPS, latency-sensitive trading or real-time systems where shared CPU jitter is unacceptable, render and compute farms that saturate every core, and the regulatory frameworks that simply require single-tenant compute. For those, the performance and the audit story both improve the moment you stop sharing. We provision the hardware to your specification, install it in our facility, monitor it alongside everything else, and replace failed components on a defined SLA. The box is yours; the operations are ours.

How it works

From spec sheet to racked and running.

Standing up a dedicated server is a deliberate process, not a checkout flow. The goal is that the hardware matches the workload on day one and stays maintained for years after.

Spec

We profile the workload (CPU pattern, memory needs, IOPS, network throughput, compliance constraints) and design a build to fit. You see the configuration and the reasoning before anything is ordered.

Provision

The hardware is racked in our facility, installed with your operating system, hardened to a baseline, and connected to its dedicated uplink. Burn-in testing happens before your data ever touches it.

Onboard

We migrate or stand up the workload, join the box to monitoring, configure backups, and document the runbook. For regulated environments, the controls and evidence are set up at the same time.

Maintain

From there: patching in agreed windows, 24/7 monitoring, proactive component replacement before failure where we can predict it, and an SLA-backed swap when we can't. The hardware risk is ours.

Who it's for.

Dedicated servers fit the narrow but real set of businesses whose workload has outgrown shared infrastructure or was never a fit for it. That's the practice or firm under HIPAA, PCI DSS, or CMMC whose auditor requires single-tenant compute. It's the company running a database whose query latency is the difference between a usable application and a frustrated one. It's the engineering or media team whose render and build jobs would saturate any shared host. And it's the organization that has tried the multi-tenant cloud and found the per-month cost of guaranteed performance is higher there than a dedicated box they keep for years. If you're not sure which side of the line you fall on, that's the most useful conversation to have, because the answer is often a VM, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you hardware you don't need. When dedicated genuinely is the answer, it pairs with hosted SQL Server for the database tier and secure backup for the recovery story underneath it.

Common questions about dedicated servers.

When do I actually need a dedicated server instead of a VM?

When the workload needs guaranteed, single-tenant performance: very high disk I/O, latency that can't tolerate shared-CPU jitter, saturating compute jobs, or a compliance framework that requires dedicated hardware. For everything else, a virtual machine is cheaper and more flexible. We'll look at your numbers and tell you honestly which one fits, even when the answer is the cheaper one.

Do you handle compliance requirements like HIPAA or PCI DSS?

Yes. Single-tenant hardware gives you the physical and logical separation those frameworks expect, and we set up the access controls, logging, encryption, and evidence trails alongside the build rather than as an afterthought. The server becomes part of a defensible compliance posture, and we can map the controls to your specific framework so an audit has something to point at.

What happens if a component fails?

We keep spare parts on hand and replace failed components on a defined SLA, typically within hours, so the hardware risk of owning a box doesn't land on you. RAID and mirrored storage mean a single drive failure is a swap rather than an outage, and monitoring often flags a degrading component before it fails outright so we can schedule the replacement.

Is the server managed, or do I administer it myself?

That's your call. Most clients have us fully manage it: patching, monitoring, backups, and a documented runbook on the same dashboard as the rest of their environment. If your team prefers to administer the operating system and applications, we can hand off that layer and keep the hardware, network, and facility side. We'll define exactly where the line sits up front.

Where are the servers physically located?

The hardware lives in our facility with redundant power and cooling, connected through dedicated uplinks. Single-tenant location matters for both performance and compliance, and keeping the box in infrastructure we control means the same team that manages it can put hands on it when a component needs swapping.
