Websites that earn their rent.

Mockups, UX, accessible front-end, and the editorial design discipline you've already seen on this page. Pairs naturally with Web Hosting if you want one vendor end-to-end.

What's included

One vendor, everything wired up.

Design, build, accessibility, performance, and the hosting it lives on. Fewer handoffs, fewer 'talk to your hosting provider' loops, and one team accountable from the first wireframe to the day after launch. We design the site and we keep it running, so there is no seam between the people who built it and the people who answer when something breaks.

D

Discovery + mockup

We audit what you have, map the pages and journeys that matter, and build flat mockups in your actual brand. You approve the design before a line of code gets written, so there are no expensive surprises in the build.

B

Build (HTML / CMS)

Plain hand-written HTML when speed matters, a headless CMS when content changes often, WordPress when the editor team needs a familiar dashboard. We pick the stack that fits how you actually update the site, not the trendy one.

A

Accessibility (508)

WCAG 2.2 AA from the first wireframe, not bolted on at the end. Real screen-reader runs, keyboard testing, and contrast checks, with the compliance documented rather than assumed. More on accessibility.

S

SEO + Core Web Vitals

Performance budgets, structured data, clean semantic markup, and Lighthouse scores in the 90s. The unsexy work that keeps you indexed and keeps the page fast on a phone, which is where most of your visitors actually are.

H

Hosting + maintenance

The site lives on infrastructure we run, with backups, patching, TLS, and monitoring handled. No "contact your host" runaround when something needs attention. See web hosting.

C

Content + brand

Copy that says something, photography that earns its place, and a layout built on your brand system rather than a stock template. We can build the underlying system too. More on brand identity.

The website is infrastructure now.

For most mid-market businesses, the website is the first interaction a customer ever has. It is also the first thing to break, the last thing to get patched, and the thing nobody wants to own. We design it like the production system it is, with the same attention to uptime, security, and maintenance that we give the rest of a client's technology.

We work in the editorial direction this site is built in: typography that breathes, photography that is earned, copy that says something. If you want a generic SaaS page with rotating-gradient blobs and an AI-powered badge, we will respectfully decline. The goal is a site that looks like your company and loads fast, not one that looks like every other company that bought the same template.

Because Movalo also runs managed IT and hosting, the website does not sit on an island. The same people who design and build it can host it, secure it, and keep it patched, which means there is one number to call when the contact form stops sending or the certificate is about to expire. Fewer vendors means fewer arguments about whose fault an outage is.

"Fewer vendors, fewer arguments. The hosting provider, the dev shop, the SEO contractor, and the help desk are all the same group of people."
How it works

From audit to launch.

A website project moves in a clear order: understand the goals, design and approve, build and test, then ship and keep it healthy. Each stage has a checkpoint, so you always know what is happening and what comes next.

01

Discover

We audit the current site, clarify who it is for and what it needs to do, and map the pages and journeys. We agree on what success looks like before any design work begins.

02

Design

We build flat mockups in your real brand, review them against actual content, and refine until you approve. Accessibility and layout decisions get made here, on paper, where changes are cheap.

03

Build + test

We code the approved design, wire up the CMS or forms, and test for accessibility, performance, and cross-browser behavior. Nothing ships until it passes a screen-reader run and a performance check.

04

Launch + maintain

We deploy to hosting we manage, set up monitoring and backups, and stay on for patching and updates. The launch is a milestone, not a handoff to silence.

Who it's for.

Web design fits established businesses whose site no longer reflects what the company has become, organizations carrying an accessibility or compliance obligation that the current site does not meet, and teams tired of juggling a separate designer, developer, hosting provider, and SEO contractor who all blame each other when something goes wrong. It fits companies in regulated fields that need the site to be defensible, and ones that simply want a site that loads fast and looks like them. If you are a Jacksonville or Southeast business that wants the website treated as the production system it actually is, owned end to end by one team, this is the engagement for that. If all you need is a quick logo swap on an otherwise fine site, we will tell you that honestly rather than sell you a rebuild.

Questions

Common questions about web design.

How long does it take to design and build a website?

A focused marketing site usually runs 6 to 10 weeks from discovery to launch. A larger site with a CMS, custom templates, and content migration can take 3 to 4 months. The biggest variable is content readiness, so we scope the timeline in the proposal once we know how many pages you have and who is writing them.

Do you host the site too, or just build it?

Either way. Most clients have us host on infrastructure we run, so backups, patching, TLS, and monitoring are handled and there is one team accountable. If you prefer to host elsewhere, we will build to your platform and hand it over cleanly. The web hosting option just removes a vendor from the equation.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Yes, if you want to. When content changes often we build on a CMS your team can update without touching code, and we train you on it. When a site rarely changes, we sometimes recommend a simpler setup and just handle edits for you. We match the tool to how you actually work, not the other way around.

Is the website accessible and ADA-compliant?

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA from the first wireframe, run screen-reader and keyboard tests before launch, and document the result. That reduces ADA Title III risk and is required for many government and education clients. If you need a formal audit of an existing site, our accessibility service covers that separately.

Can you redesign our existing site without starting from scratch?

Often, yes. If the structure and content are sound, we can refresh the design, fix performance and accessibility issues, and bring it onto your current brand without a full rebuild. We audit first and tell you plainly whether a refresh or a rebuild is the better use of your budget.
